Job Description: Client is seeking a Data Developer to join the Enterprise Data team. The Data Developer will document, design, develop, test, and maintain Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes. The ideal candidate should be capable of working independently and in a team setting, demonstrating expertise in design, development, testing, deployment, and problem-solving. We are seeking a self-motivated individual who is a quick learner.

Essential Duties:

Develop, document, test, and provide production support for data management and integration processes. Program and develop SQL scripts, tables, views, stored procedures, functions, constraints, etc. Utilize SSIS (Integration Services) to move data into databases from various sources, including data cleansing and transformations when required. Manage migration into production, encompassing both data and systems. Perform data profiling to ensure high levels of data quality. Contribute to and maintain design documents and other documentation, such as logical or physical data models, end-to-end data integration diagrams, and Service Level Expectation documents. Develop effective error handling, conduct unit testing, and obtain stakeholder acceptance for implementation and production support readiness. Maintain a balanced workload among project development, support maintenance and operations (including on-call rotation), innovation and creativity, and proactive continuous improvement. Ensure database optimization, integrity, consistency, security, and privacy. Collaborate with internal and external organizations to support project requirements, including resolving elevated end-user support requests and exploring and implementing advanced technologies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 4 years of related experience/training. Minimum of 2 years experience implementing ETL solutions from scratch in a production environment (preferably using SSIS or Azure Data Factory). Minimum of 2 years experience with database querying (preferably T-SQL) and stored procedure development from scratch in a production environment. Minimum of 2 years experience managing database code deployment in CI/CD pipelines (preferably CACPAC) and creating new CI/CD pipelines. Expertise in Python is required. Experience with streaming data, data science, Databricks, or Snowflake is a plus.
